Satu hal yang cukup menggembirakan dari update game sebelumnya yaitu PES 2008, Kini PES 2009 menampilkan kostum asli dari 2 klub besar liga Inggris yaitu Liverpool dan Manchaster United. Bahkan kini dalam PES 2009 kita dapat merasakan gemerlap dan megahnya Liga Champion karena format dan desain Liga Champion kini dihadirkan dihadapan PC atau game console yang Anda gunakan untuk bermain PES 2009.

Untuk klub-klub lain, kita tidak usah khawatir sekarang dengan update ini kita juga bisa merasakan data klub-klub liga eropa bahkan dunia dan juga tim nasional yang terbaru dan teraktual baik pemain, logo, maupun data transfer terbaru. Banyak pilihan update yang bisa kita gunakan setelah kita install games PES 2009 yang merupakan penyempurnaan dari versi sebelumnya.
